The company’s origins date back to 1927, when Mr. Holliger, a prosthetist, and his wife, a dentist, began manufacturing dental mirrors to meet the practical needs of clinicians. Their shared vision laid the foundation for what would become a reference name in dental instrumentation.

In 1948, Mr. Dubost, an expert cutler, joined the company and brought metallurgical precision and cutting expertise, expanding the portfolio to high-quality manual dental instruments. This marked the beginning of PRODONT HOLLIGER’s reputation for durability, precision, and performance.

In 1960, the SAFICO brand (Société Française de Fabrication d'Instruments Chirurgicaux Ollierguois) was established, specializing in premium manual instruments. The brand was later integrated into PRODONT HOLLIGER, strengthening its expertise and product range.

Located in Olliergues France, a region renowned for its long-standing metallurgical and cutlery traditions, PRODONT HOLLIGER continues to embody French industrial excellence and meticulous craftsmanship.
